Vancouver Discovery/Granville Island Tour
Thursday, October 14 • 1 – 5 pm
Sponored by Turn Bull Lumber Company

granvilleThe tour begins with Stanley Park, a 1000-acre peninsula of rainforest in the heart of the city…a city embraced by winding seawalls, towering totem poles and the Lighthouse at Brockton Point. Beyond these urban woods, lay the sprawling beaches of English Bay where Vancouver’s rainforest, mountain and ocean setting meet the city’s cosmopolitan ambiance.

Next stop is one of Vancouver’s most popular places, Granville Island. Once an industrial area, this place is now home to the colourful Public Market and one of a kind artisan stores not found anywhere else in the city. Guests will have leisure time to explore this fascinating area.

Upon returning to the city centre, guests will experience Chinatown. And finally, this adventure ends where Vancouver began – in Vancouver’s most historic area – Gastown. Here, along cobbled alleys and walkways, former warehouses are home to shops and restaurants.

Length of tour is 3.5 hours
Cost per person is $55 US

Capilano Suspension Bridge/Grouse Mountain Tour
Friday, October 15 • 1 – 5 pm

grouseThe first impression is a dramatic one: over the rushing waters of Capilano Canyon swings the Capilano Suspension Bridge…grasp the cool steel cable, step onto the gently swaying cedar planks and walk 450 feet across and 230 feet above Capilano River. Treetops Adventure awaits on the far side of the bridge. Treetops offers visitors a squirrel’s eye view of a thriving coastal forest, as they venture from one magnificent Douglas fir tree to another via a series of elevated suspension bridges.

The drama continues as the Superskyride aerial tramway ascends from the plateau of Vancouver’s highest peak to the spectacular 4,100-foot summit with its panoramic views of the city, sea and mountains. This is Grouse Mountain. A visit to Grizzly Bear wildlife sanctuary of a viewing of the Theatre in the Sky will show all a little more of what Natural BC has to offer.

Length of tour is 4.5 hours
Cost per person is $125 US
